An inclusive Heathen kindred for Lokeans, queer people, and people of color
About Us
In March of 2017, Rainbow Kindred formed online with five original members across the United States. Our goal was to bring together Lokeans, queer people, and people of color in a safer place to worship the Norse Gods when these groups are so often marginalized in mainstream Heathenry. We perform both in person and online rituals. Rainbow Kindred exists as a spiritual, educational, and family-support structure for its members.

There are currently three members training to become clergy.

Kindred Dissolvement
September 12, 2019
As of September 12, 2019, Rainbow Kindred has chosen to disband indefinitely. We will keep you updated if Rainbow Kindred reactivates.
Declaration 127
October 14, 2018
Rainbow Kindred unanimously voted to sign Declaration 127 and vow to fight against racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, xenophobia, etc within our kindred and larger community.

Policies & Values
Rainbow Kindred is an inclusive, online-based Heathen kindred with members of multiple races, sexualities, genders, and disabilities. This kindred is also Loki and Lokean friendly. Bigotry and harassment are NOT tolerated.
